This article applies to:- Platform(s): macOS
Mac OS X 10.7.3 and above: Under System Preferences click on the Java icon to access the Java Control Panel which will list your Java version. If you do not see a Java icon under System Preferences, Java 7 or later versions is not installed. May 07, 2020 If you're using one of these computers with OS X Mavericks or later, you can install macOS Catalina. Your Mac also needs at least 4GB of memory and 12.5GB of available storage space, or up to 18.5GB of storage space when upgrading from OS X Yosemite or earlier.
When I attempt to install I get the above message. I Erased again, got the same disk info,/Volumes/xxxx's Airbook, format Mac OS Extended (Journaled), 3 folders, 3 files 111.4GB available, Verify disk is OK. I also have a new 10.6 installation disk but I can't get the 10.5 disk out of the external drive. Unable to start FMP18 with Catalina and unable to install Java SE 6 Runtime. 2017-001 can't be installed on this disk. A newer version of this package is already. We can't increase the memory, processing power, or disk space for Microsoft-hosted agents, but you can use self-hosted agents or scale set agents hosted on machines with your desired specifications. I can't select a Microsoft-hosted agent and I can't queue my build or deployment. Java 6 cannot currently be installed on macOS 10.15 Catalina because there is a newer version of Java installed on the system. Attempts to reinstall legacy Java libraries upon upgrade of the OS may result in errors restricting installation.
